Randy Flechsig is co-founder and executive director of Mercy Holistic Health Foundation, a 501(C)3 Christian organization dedicated to improving access to health care in underdeveloped rural communities in Africa. Its vision is to develop comprehensive systems of care integrating public health, health education, training, and infrastructure.

The Foundation is presently working to build a health center in Churo, Kenya. He is a seasoned organizational leader in both healthcare and higher education with 30+ years of experience as a health care CEO and university president. Randy’s experience includes a high degree of proficiency in nonprofit board relations, strategic planning, fundraising, fostering winning cultures around innovation and change, and building sustainable collaborative relationships.

In his leadership roles. Mr. Flechsig has worked with nonprofit boards to embark upon paths shaped by transformative vision and executing winning strategies. Randy has chaired and served as trustee on numerous nonprofit boards. He believes that to do remarkable things you must stretch thinking around innovation and then inspire people to envision a future that requires new and different paths.

Randy earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Xavier University in Cincinnati and a master’s degree in health care administration from St. Louis University. He and his wife Laura have been married 35 years, have lived in Ada, Michigan for 24 years where they raised their sons Harrison and Clayton, who are now pursuing their careers.
