It is with much delight that I write this letter informing you of one of the greatest guest speakers I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with. As president of our Colorado state chapter of health care professionals, I am often in the market to locate a keynote speaker for our conferences. Finding just the right combination of information and entertainment value is never easy. However, I did find that in Chris Blackmore and much more!

Our event’s theme was focused on customer satisfaction and how to deliver exceptional quality service in the health care environment. As you are aware in health care, experience is everything. Quality does not happen by accident; it is an intentional effort to deliver the best. When Chris Blackmore was hired to speak at this event, he did his homework. He researched our industry and delivered an inspiring approach to customer satisfaction through his THINK and LEARN methodology. One technique that Chris spoke about was teamwork. He related that no work is beneath you. It's not the job description that's important; it’s owning and taking care of whatever is needed when it's needed.

Chris’ delivery was also delivered with clean humor! Throughout his presentation, my audience laughed wholeheartedly at his magic and reveled in the enjoyment of being entertained while learning. When I received the surveys at the end of the conference, Chris scored the highest marks and the buzz is still going on! I have received several messages from the participants relating how delightful, funny, and wonderful his presentation was. More importantly, they have requested more information with regards to initiating their own customer service programs.

I was not looking forward to sitting through thirteen individual sessions hearing the same product presentations over and over again. Chris Blackmore definitely did his homework. It was amazing how smoothly he worked jokes about our company, our history and our employees into his act. As he called each ‘volunteer’ up on stage and learned which department they were from, he would have a joke or two regarding that particular department. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed him; even the people who are normally quiet and staid were laughing hysterically, so that tells you something about what a huge hit he was.

There is so much that goes into planning a successful corporate affair and so many things that could very easily go wrong. I never had to spend one second worrying about a joke with a double-meaning, an off-color remark or that one of my co-workers would be humiliated or embarrassed. I can’t tell you what a relief it is not to have to worry about things like that."
